Speakers
Jan Pašek works as a Tech Lead at a major FX trading platform, where he leads the Prague-based Forwards pricing team. He has a background in Applied Sciences, specialising in software engineering and natural language processing. During his academic years, he published two AI-focused research papers and began PhD studies in AI-driven source code generation before moving into industry.
Jan uses C++, Java and Python in his daily work, combining his academic experience in AI with practical development in financial technology. His transition from research to industry reflects a continued interest in applying AI to developing complex trading systems.
Ekaterina Znatkova has over 12 years of experience in the IT industry. She began her career as a Java developer and later transitioned into the role of AWS DevOps Lead, where she successfully bridged the gap between development and operations. Currently, she serves as the Data Controls Lead and is also an active member of the GenAI platform team, contributing to a range of innovative projects.
Martina Vladař is a Senior Business Analyst and People Manager at Barclays in Prague, where she leads a team of Business Analysts focused on the strategic risk generation platform. She is also the proud WIN ERG Co-Lead in Prague
